About Yes& Productions
Say Yes&
"Great art comes from saying yes more than no — and by calling others in rather than keeping them out."
Our Story
Two Friends. One Big Dream.
Yes& Productions is the brainchild of two friends who dreamed of building a space where quality art and productions can bring the Tri-Cities community together. We're more than just a company; we're a community hub, a place where people from all walks of life can gather, connect, and create.
Whether you're a seasoned theatre-goer or a curious newcomer, we welcome you to experience the magic. So come on in, take a seat (or a spot on stage, if the mood strikes!), and let's embark on this journey together. Because in the world of Yes&, every moment is an opportunity to connect, laugh, and be wonderfully, unabashedly human. Curtain up!
Built on the Improv Principle of "Yes, And…"
In improv, "yes, and…" means you accept what's offered and build on it. That's how we make theatre — and it's how we build community. Every idea gets a seat at the table. Every voice matters. Every performance is an invitation to engage, connect, and play.
The People Behind the Curtain
Meet the Team
Executive Director
Jill Madison
With roots in opera and a career spanning the arts, technology, and organizational leadership, Jill brings the vision and the execution to make Yes& go.
Jill has spent over two decades at the intersection of the arts and leadership. Trained as an opera singer and seasoned as a performer, she built a career that expanded into technology and large-scale product delivery — serving as a Principal Product Manager at Amazon and REI, where she led cross-functional teams and shipped complex initiatives from concept to launch. She currently works at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), bringing that same strategic and operational expertise to one of the region's most important institutions.
As Executive Director of Yes& Productions, Jill combines a lifelong commitment to the performing arts with the leadership skills and organizational discipline of her professional career. Under her direction, Yes& has grown into a multi-season company with 30% year-over-year audience growth — and a vision to become an essential part of the cultural fabric of the Tri-Cities. Her goal is to build more than a theatre company; it's to create a sanctuary where people from all walks of life can come together to experience the full spectrum of human emotions — laughter, tears, celebration, and contemplation — through quality performances. For Jill, art is not something to be observed from a distance. It's an invitation to engage, connect, and play.
Artistic Director
Megan Johnson
"Creativity is a wild mind and a disciplined eye." — Dorothy Parker
Megan Johnson is the Artistic Director of Yes& Productions, where she is committed to creating world-class, homegrown theatre in the heart of the Tri-Cities. A director, actor, writer, and podcaster with over a decade of experience in the regional arts scene, Megan got her start in theatre at age 13, when her father surprised her with tickets to The Phantom of the Opera at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. Megan says she walked into that theatre—and never really left!
Megan's artistic vision can be summed up by a quote from Dorothy Parker: "Creativity is a wild mind and a disciplined eye." She strives to cultivate theatre that meets the highest artistic standards while remaining welcoming and accessible to the community it serves. Passionate about big ideas and ambitious projects, Megan ensures that every performance is not only a polished, quality production but also an exceptional experience for the actors, directors, and technicians involved.
Megan's directing credits include West Side Story, The Night Witches, Hadestown, The Music Man, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. As a performer, she has appeared in leading roles such as Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), The Witch (Into the Woods), Fantine (Les Misérables), and Henrietta Leavitt (Silent Sky).
Megan is proud to be part of Yes& Productions, helping to make live theatre another wonderful reason to love our hometown.
